EUDL Request for Proposals

The New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) announces the Enforcing the Underage Drinking Laws Request for Proposals:  Prevention, Community and Law Enforcement Partnership Sub-GrantsEditable PDF Document.  The funding is available through the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) Enforcing the Underage Drinking Laws (EUDL) Block Grant.  Eligible applicants are not-for-profit OASAS-funded prevention providers in New York state who partner with law enforcement agencies to enforce underage drinking laws and coordinate community responses to reduce and eliminate youth alcohol access.

Allowable activities include: Underage Drinking Enforcement Details, Party Patrols, Retail Compliance Checks, Shoulder Tap Details, or Responsible Beverage Server Training programs (RBS).  There is also a required educational component.

Grant Period: A contract will be awarded starting on January 15, 2010, and ending on December 31, 2010. Based on available funding and compliance with programmatic requirements, applicants may be eligible for a renewal contract for up to $20,000 for the January 1, 2011, through December 31, 2011, grant period.

Eligibility:  Not-for-Profit OASAS funded prevention providers who partner with law enforcement agencies.
